Mystical. Airy. The type of music that melts into the background, making you a part of its landscape. “Sister” is a surprising piece of music for me. I hadn’t considered it could have as many layers to it as it does. While another in the onslaught of the latest “lo-fi” and “chillhop” waves, it still brings something triumphant to the table. Sonic ties to Zero 7, perhaps 4Hero at their most ethereal, less beat driven. It calls to something in me that I’ve experienced before. That’s not at all a bad thing.
