This is certainly a refreshing piece of music. Obviously these samurai take much inspiration from the likes of legendary Nujabes and his “Samurai Champloo” comrade Fat Jon. The music is elegant, homey, something millennials remember with fondness. It helps that the rappers deliver something classic. Perhaps not the most inventive or even the best in terms of delivery or lyrical prowess. But it is a nice album that allows listeners to just groove and feel.
