This is an album that suffers from being way too short. Yes, it’s understood this was only meant to be a side project for some of jazz music’s most dynamic contemporary artists. However, just as I’m getting in the groove of the album, the softer neo-soul mixing more overtly with the classic jazz elements, the album ends. That being said, this was just a lovely EP. A fun little weekend gig between friends.
