This is just a gorgeous piece of music. Evocative of the emotional ups and downs of new love, the excitement, uncertainty, then eventual endlessness of love. Though a soundtrack, it stands alone as a testament to the musical expansiveness of Robert Glasper and his understanding of narrative and how music fits within its confines. H.E.R. is a revelation on this album, ending it like a hug beneath warm blankets. Beautiful.
