Emotional, moody, brooding. It doesn’t stray too far from anything brwn’s done. That being said, this does represent him at his best and most introspective musically. It’s not out of his wheelhouse, so is a bit stagnant in that regard. But it’s a sensitive piece of work that seems to find brwn working through a deep hurt.
