Blu Robin's Into the Deep Dark Blu is a beautifully atmospheric piece. The guitar used to emphasize the stillness of water while also building on the drama water represents. Soft and sensuous when at rest. Turbulent and violent when in a rage. It's soothing music that allows listeners to float as nature intended. It's a shame the EP is so short (clocking in at about 9 minutes). This would've been a wonderful piece to explore if Blu Robin had decided to stretch his artistry a bit more, doing justice to the versatility of the water he emulates with his instrument and composition.
